Terms of Use

In short: FaceKin is for fun. It is not a DNA test, and its scores should never be used to make decisions about real people.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using FaceKin ("the app"), published by iamdev ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Entertainment only

FaceKin compares how faces look in photos and turns that into playful scores, verdicts and estimates. Results depend heavily on lighting, angle, expression and photo quality, and can be wrong.

FaceKin is not a DNA or paternity test and cannot prove or disprove that anyone is related.
Looks scores and age estimates are light-hearted guesses, not judgments of anyone's worth or attractiveness.
Do not use results to make legal, medical, family or relationship decisions, or to identify people.

3. Your photos

You may only use photos that you have the right to use. Please get permission before analyzing or sharing photos of other people, and use photos of children responsibly. Your photos remain yours; see our Privacy Policy for how they are handled.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app or the images it creates to harass, shame, bully or discriminate against anyone, or in any way that breaks the law. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.

5. Shared results

Result images you save or share are created at your request. You are responsible for where you share them and for respecting the privacy of everyone in them.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of results, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any decision or action taken based on the app's results.

8. Changes

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated Terms.
